2010 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Longstreth - Goldberg ART has announced its schedule of shows and art discussions for the first half of the 2010 season. The gallery, now in its 29th year, is Southwest Florida’s largest contemporary art gallery, specializing in “Tomorrow’s Masters TODAY.”

The gallery represents approximately 40 painters and sculptors, all of whom have had museum shows and are regionally well known throughout the world.

Artists represented include Mark Chatterley, Allen Wynn, Russell Whiting, Hugh Davies, Alberto Carol, Marko Spalatin, George Snyder, Lucien Dulfan, Christine Peloquin, Linda Stein, Kathryn Freeman, Robert Creamer, Nancy Scheinman, DaNisha.

The gallery’s show schedule will be as follows:

JANUARY:
Wednesday, January 6th,, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.:
Featuring new paintings by noted Florida artist Richard Currier. A group show featuring approximately 20 painters and sculptors will be shown simultaneously in the larger gallery area.


FEBRUARY:
Wednesday, February 3rd,, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.:
New paintings by Canadian painter Andre Paradis. Group show will continue in the large gallery.


MARCH:
Friday, March 26th,, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.:
Paintings and sculpture by Danielle Mailer, with a concurrent group show in the large gallery. Danielle is the daughter of Norman Mailer, and is garnering rave comments in the New York Times and all along the East Coast of the U.S.
